David will be slingin’ his Les Paul and singing lead vocals on several of BOSTON’s iconic songs.

BOSTON founder Tom Scholz says, “The moment I heard David sing in my studio, I knew he would fit right in. A good guy with great control and amazing range, who can really play … perfect for BOSTON.”

David Victor adds: “BOSTON and Tom Scholz was one of my earliest influences and it is an honor almost beyond words to be asked to join them and become part of the history of this iconic band.”

The band is currently in rehearsals on the east coast. The 2012 BOSTON tour is scheduled to begin in June 2012 in Florida. The full official tour schedule is available on the BOSTON band website at:

The songs include an original power-ballad “Still The One” and an acoustic cover of the Boston hit “A Man I’ll Never Be”.

The tracks were produced and engineered by Anthony Mazza at his Valencia, CA studios in Spring 2011 and mastered by Neil Citron. The music was released via CD Baby and will become available via iTunes, Rhapsody, Last.fm and Napster, among others as the distribution proceeds. Links to all outlets will be posted here as they come online.

These first five songs are slated for inclusion on the full length version of Strength Of Conviction, expected to include ten tracks total. Other new tracks include an unusual cover of a Kate Bush classic as well as two more original songs, “Strength Of Conviction” and “17th Summer”. More new music will follow as quickly as David’s schedule permits and will be released as soon as it is produced.
